Grandpa’s Slow Steps

Grandpa’s Slow Steps

Why does Grandpa walk so slowly? And could every slow step be carrying a story of love, care, and hard work?

In this heartwarming kids story, Sam goes with his grandpa to the old market. At first, Sam feels frustrated because Grandpa walks slowly and they might be late. But when Grandpa gently explains how his tired feet once walked long roads for Sam’s father, Sam begins to understand something important.

Grandpa tells Sam how he used to carry his father to the doctor, walk to work every day, and care for his family with love. Then Sam sees an old photo of his father as a little child sleeping in Grandpa’s arms under the rain.

By the end of the walk, Sam learns that the people who cared for us when we were small deserve kindness, patience, help, and love when they grow old.
