Child-focused story checks
Story requests and generated scripts are checked against child-safety rules before a finished adventure is created.
These checks reduce risk, but generated content can still be imperfect. An adult should review stories and decide what is appropriate for their child.
Parents choose the direction
Parents and caregivers choose the topic, tone, characters, age, and reading level. They can review the script before illustrations and narration are created and use touch-ups afterward.

Photos are optional
A child profile can be created without uploading a photo. A photo is used only when a family chooses to make illustrations resemble the child more closely.
